Leo Woo was born in Malaysia and lived there until 1997. It was then he had the opportunity to travel to New York to learn the many intracacies of the art of sushi from his Uncle. During a visit to Iowa, Leo was very impressed by the quality and freshness of Waterfront’s seafood and he chose to move here to continue to hone his craft. Since then, he has enjoyed preparing sushi to his many loyal Waterfront customers and teaching the art to his devoted employees and many of his customers during his frequent Sunday sushi classes.
